Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Vented patients go straight to the ICU, would rarely see BiPAP patients; Comfortable managing gtts you would commonly see in the ICU—heparin, insulin, sometimes cardiac; Limited use of BiPAP, primarily in post-operative settings; Occasionally cares for adult patients based on unit needs; Self-motivated, resourceful—asks for help if doesn’t know the answer to something, team player, open bay unit so works in a “all hands on deck” mentality
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years preferred in the critical care peds space.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free
Shift & Scheduling:
- On Call, Call Back Requirements: 4-5 call shifts in an 8 week period
- Weekend Rotation: Nights, weekends, and holidays included in call rotation (4-5 call shifts in an 8 week period)
- Holiday Requirements: Nights, weekends, and holidays included in call rotation (4-5 call shifts in an 8 week period)
Floating Requirements: Occasionally care for adult patient but they would be brought to their unit.
