Additional Details:
Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility."
Required Skills/Experience:
• 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing required.
• De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are NOT used), medication passes, comfortability to run groups, documentation
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Pediatric BH experience preferred – send to manager for approval if candidate does not have Peds experience.
• Traveler may have the opportunity to act as Charge, but this is not required
Required Credentials: MOAB is obtained on site (part of orientation)
Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking
Special Requests: Must extend to accommodate if unable to work all shifts within a week.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend rotation: every other; Sat/Sun
• No call
• OT is available
• Holiday Expectations: expected to work holidays in rotation
Floating Requirements: Between all units – Adults and Peds
