Preferred Skills/Experience Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred. Experience in neuroscience specialties, neurosurgery, or surgical clinic environments preferred. Experience with surgical case posting or OR scheduling workflows preferred. Pediatrics experience preferred. Triage or care coordination experience preferred.

Required Credentials Associate or diploma RNs must have acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program with a signed agreement, or be enrolled in a nursing bridge program working toward an MSN. Verified BSN-equivalency or a signed agreement is required.

Preferred Credentials BSN preferred. ACLS or specialty credentials preferred, depending on unit.

Special Requests If you were previously perm staff at TCH, you must wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position, though this timeline may vary slightly depending on the unit.

Unit Details Outpatient clinic role providing direct patient care, rooming patients, coordinating tests, preparing patients for procedures or exams, coordinating and posting surgical cases, and triaging patient calls, MyChart messages, and urgent care needs. Supports multiple providers and may provide coverage for staffing gaps, high patient volumes, or specialized patient needs.
