Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of RN experience in med/surg required.
PCU or ICU experience required.
If first-time traveler, must have more than 5 years of RN experience.
Barcode scanning must be at least 95% to be eligible for an extension; a result below 95% could result in cancellation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
1 year of recent ICU experience preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
This is a mixed-acuity unit caring for PCU, medical-surgical, and telemetry patients, with occasional ICU/PCU patients.
Nurses care for patients across all acuity levels, and ratios vary based on acuity.
Patient population includes medical cardiac/respiratory, basic orthopedic (knees/hips), and general surgery patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation.
Every other holiday.
Standby call required as needed.
Flexible contract hours: 48 hours may be considered if willing to work more weekends.
