Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum experience: 3 years, with at least 2 being recent inpatient psych.
Blood draws are mandatory.
Psych de-escalation techniques are required.
Ability to lead groups is required.
If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Seclusion and restraint experience preferred.
Modified house supervisor duties as needed are preferred; the facility will train if candidate is a fit.

Required Credentials:
Wellfound requires that a MOAB or CPI certification be obtained by all travelers. MOAB is not offered on site, so you would need to have this prior to start, or the CPI can be done online through Calm Every Storm and the hands-on portion can be done after you start.

Special Requests:
Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.

Unit Details:
Adult psychiatric patients are ages 18-65; seclusion is used, but mechanical restraints are not used.
Detox or substance use disorder (SUD) is not treated as the primary diagnosis.
Security on site does not lead codes; all staff are trained to lead all codes themselves.
Modified charge nurse duties are required as needed; the facility will explain the duties, and charge experience is not required.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift start times are 0700 or 1900.
Every other weekend rotation.
No recurrent days off.
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week if preferred.
