Required Skills/Experience:

• Trach experience required.
• Ventilator experience required.
• Will take 1.5 years exp if from a level 1 trauma center, large hospital.

Unit Details:

• Adult pulmonary overflow/tele med-surg unit caring for long-term trach and vent patients, vent weaning, and general telemetry medical/surgical patients.
• Patient population includes respiratory failure, COVID, flu, pneumonia, diabetes, CHF, and COPD.
• Positions on the unit include BAs, PCAs, and RNs.
• May take up to a 5 non-vent patient assignment.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• May float frequently between sister units NP1 and EP 4-6.
• Could float to ED to care for boarders.
