Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Trach experience required.
- Ventilator experience required.
- Will take 1.5 years exp if from a level 1 trauma center, large hospital.
Unit Details:
- Adult pulmonary overflow/tele med-surg unit caring for long-term trach and vent patients, vent weaning, and general telemetry medical/surgical patients.
- Patient population includes respiratory failure, COVID, flu, pneumonia, diabetes, CHF, and COPD.
- Positions on the unit include BAs, PCAs, and RNs.
- May take up to a 5 non-vent patient assignment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- No call.
Floating Requirements:
- May float frequently between sister units NP1 and EP 4-6.
- Could float to ED to care for boarders.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
