Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year IMCU experience plus 2+ years recent med/surg and telemetry experience required. Neuro care, MIs, and trachs are required. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: AHA-issued BLS preferred.

Special Requests: Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.

Unit Details: No telemetry technicians on unit. Uses automated medication dispensing. Mix of IMCU, neurology, and med/surg patients with complex medical needs. High volume of neurology, medicine, and cardiology patients, including chronic vents, trachs, and high-acuity heart failure. Average patient ratio is 1:3 (IMCU), 1:4, or 1:4-5 if med/surg patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation, 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a. Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
