Required Skills/Experience: ICU or STICU experience in level 1-2 trauma centers.

Special Requests: 75-mile radius restriction.

Unit Details: 2:1 ratio, but 1:1 is not uncommon with higher acuity patients. Cares for neuro patients with brain drains, ortho trauma requiring traction, post-op open-heart CABG patients, open abdomens that may be re-opened at bedside, renal patients requiring CRRT at bedside, and medical ICU overflow patients. Uses balloon pumps, Impellas, EKOS, and Meditech. ECMO program planned to start this summer.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
