• MICU and/or SICU experience required.

Special Requests:

• Will consider block schedule for day/night shifts.

Unit Details:

• Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.
• Cares for comprehensive medical ICU patients including ARDS, AHRF, COPD, sepsis, cardiac surgery, and ECMO, plus surgical/trauma/neurosurgical SICU patients including head injury, trauma, stroke, TBI, and general surgery; some pediatrics.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Rotating shift availability preferred to meet flexing census.
• No rotating shifts within 48 hours.
• Weekend needs will vary based on the needs of the unit.

Floating Requirements:

• Primarily within Critical Care Division. Will, however, float as needed to other units as census needs.
• ICU department includes a medical ICU and a Level 1 surgical/trauma/neurosurgical SICU, with assignments to both units as census and needs dictate.
