Required Skills/Experience:
Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.

Unit Details:
Primarily adult patients with hematologic or oncologic concerns, immunocompromised patients, radiation complications, cardiac arrhythmias, complex fluid and medication management, and single- and multi-system complications.
Nursing staff analyze cardiac rhythms; the unit is not monitored by monitor technicians.
Clinical work includes chemotherapy administration, continuous-infusion medication management, pain management, wound-vac dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheostomy patients, chest tubes, IV starts, peripheral and arterial blood draws, cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips, and cardiac monitoring.
Ancillary staff are available.
Nursing assistant-to-patient ratio is 1:8.

Shift & Scheduling:
3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6 week schedule.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Self-scheduling is available.
