Special Requests:
- RTO must be listed at time of submission.
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- All lab items requested during onboarding must be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract. Candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials:
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
- Ratios are 1:4 on days and nights and 1:5 on weekends.
- Most admissions come from the ED, ICU, or PACU.
- Dedicated mentors are available for new caregivers.
- Works closely with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy using an interdisciplinary team approach.
- Fast-paced neuro/tele unit caring for TIA/stroke, trauma, epilepsy monitoring, subdural hematoma, and neurosurgical patients.
- Dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with continuous EEG monitoring.
- Neurosurgical cases include ACDF, TLIF, XLIF, and craniotomy.
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
