Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Not accepting first-time travelers.
- Strong CVOR background required across all specialties; must be able to work independently with minimal guidance in CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, robotic thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), generator exchanges, lead extractions, heart transplants, and Fem-Pop bypass.

Special Requests:
- Time off: Up to 7 days; request approval for any additional time.
Unit Details:
- Patient Types: Cardio and Thoracic surgeries - CVOR cases include CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, robotic thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), generator exchanges, lead extractions, heart transplants, and Fem-Pop bypass.
- Surgical team will always have 2 RNs per case (circulator and Med RN); travelers will only circulate.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday schedule.
- Weekend rotation is on-call only.
- Rotating call assignments based on current staffing, generally 2-3 overnight call shifts per month; weekend call once per month, Sat/Sun 0700-0700.
- 30 min response time; no sleep room available.
- Holidays are on-call only, as needed.
- Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts.
