An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: 3 + year OR experience with anesthesia experience Strong OR /CVOR Circulating experience Assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation, sterile techniques with central lines, assisting Anesthesiologist with placement of arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains, Swan Ganz catheters, starting IV's, drawing labs, setting up medication pumps, running Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I. Assisting Anesthesia with heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior experience with conscious sedation a plus
Required Credentials: Diploma that says associates or bachelors in nursing required. Associate's Degree or Certificate
Unit/Facility Details: During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
Shift & Scheduling: M-F, various day shifts Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd-4th weekend and holiday rotation On Call/Call-Back: On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week. Could on occasion need additional call. Response time is 30 minutes ready in the OR. A Vehicle is required for this position due to the 30 minute response time.
