Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Assignment length may vary: 13-26 weeks.

Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with only two attempts permitted.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts (0650-1520) or 10-hour shifts (0650-1650) are available, with timing variable based on need/volumes and a 0600 start depending on whether there is a heart case.
Rotating weekday and weekend call is based on department needs; holiday call hours are based on need.

Unit Details:
If there are no CVOR cases, the clinician will be required to perform general cases.

Floating Requirements:
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
