References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have 2 years of experience in specialty and 1 travel contract.
Special Requests:
- 75-mile radius rule enforced.
Unit Details:
- Uses Meditech.
- Fast-track area for ESI 4-5 patients.
- Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics, from minor walk-ins to trauma cases.
- Trauma patients are stabilized and transported out by AirVac; pediatric patients are transferred out.
- Includes psych hold patients with 1:1 observation.
- Cares for ventilated patients.
- Nurses usually do their own lab draws.
- IV team available for midlines and hard sticks 8-5 M-F.
- Pharmacy is in house during the day; after hours use Omnicell or support from Phoebe Main pharmacist until midnight.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Holidays rotate with permanent staff.
