Additional Details:
Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.
Previous Employment Requirements: Previous Perm Staff, not eligible to be submitted as travelers
Required Skills/Experience: IMCU/Stepdown experience Must have surgical step down experience at a level 1 trauma center. More than 1 previous travel assignment. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Tertiary facility experience.
Unit/Facility Details: Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.
Shift & Scheduling: E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday.
