Required Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry oncology and cardiac experience required.
• Vent and transplant experience required.
• ICU or IMC and surgical post-op experience required. If ICU, must be willing to work with IMC or general care patient population.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Thoracic experience preferred.
• Epic experience within the past 12 months preferred.

Special Requests:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• Must be willing to work 12/24 and 12/25; the unit will not approve requests off for these holidays.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Patients may include those with lung and esophageal diseases, cardiac surgery stepdown patients, and hospitalist patients.
• Thoracic procedures include lobectomies, decortications, esophagectomies, lung volume reduction surgery, and wedge resection surgery.
• The clinician assists with procedures such as chest tube insertion in the procedure room located within the unit.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day/evening scheduling applies Monday through Friday; every other weekend and some holidays are required.

Floating Requirements:

• Traveler will work in both D6/5, IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and B4/3, IMC Thoracic unit.
