Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Postpartum experience.
- Well-baby experience.
- Stabilization of critical newborn for transfers.
Unit Details:
- Patient population includes labor, post-partum, and neonates.
- Equipment used: IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, syringe pump.
- Patient ratios vary based on patient acuity.
- Common diagnosis/treatment: term and late preterm indications, gestational HTN, gestational diabetes.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend. For night shift, weekend shifts are Friday/Saturday.
- No call.
