References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Able to work in Labor and Postpartum.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Bonus if L&D nurse knows how to circulate.
Unit Details: Care for postpartum, stable antepartum, newborns, GYN, Med-Surg overflow, and may be 2nd RN in SCN. Census varies: average 5 couplets, 2 pediatrics, 1 GYN, 2 labor, 4 SCN. Support staff include ward clerk from 0700-1900, CNA Tuesday-Thursday, charge nurse/circulator without assignments, resource nurse without assignment, and LPN scrub nurse without assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend.
Floating Requirements: Expected to float as needed, primarily as helping hands, but expected to take a Med-Surg patient when needed as the unit will take a Med-Surg patient from time to time. Must be willing to float to Med-Surg & Tele.
Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
Previous Employment Requirements: If previously worked with Sanford Health, must have an end date 6 months prior to submission date. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date
