Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Chest tubes, pain management, TPN, CBI, and wound care experience preferred. Charge nurse experience is a plus.
Special Requests:
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
- Common patient population includes dementia, post-surgical, falls, influenza, pneumonia, failure to thrive, cancer patients, and COVID.
- May be asked to work charge if they have the experience.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Generally every 3rd weekend, but may be more based on unit need.
- Every 3rd holiday; please expect to work one of the winter holidays.
- No call requirement. Call or standby would only be assigned if the traveler requests a scheduled shift off or volunteers to cancel.
Floating Requirements:
- Can float to PCU to take Med-Surg overflow or very low acuity PCU patients.
