Required Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a Level 1 trauma center is required. For Sterile Processing Tech roles: must have experience at a similar-sized hospital (minimum 400 beds). For Surgical Technologist roles: must have Level 1 experience or comparable Level 2 experience in a larger city/large bed-size facility. Required experience with chest tubes; tubes; drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone; lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients; trachs/laryngectomies; telemetry; complex wounds; and central line care and maintenance and blood draws.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). If you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit and facility.
Unit Details: Med-Surg Neuro unit caring for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, TBI, spinal cord injury, brain and spine tumor resections, spinal surgery, head and neck cancer, and epilepsy patients with implanted electrodes and scalp leads.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation with 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00 shifts. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. On-call required.
