Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- PCU/stepdown experience preferred.
- LTAC experience is a plus.
- Ability to maintain intubation is a plus.
Special Requests:
- Holiday Requirement: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.
- Depending on competency, nurses may be called upon to work in the PCU area within the department.
Unit Details:
- Medical/Surgical/PCU patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- The manager will ask for an ideal schedule, but travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent staff schedules. The manager will try to accommodate agency nurse requests, but special schedule requests will not take priority over staff needs.
