Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have recent level IV NICU experience (must have at least 1 year of level IV NICU experience). 2 years minimum level III/IV NICU experience required.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population. Will float to BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) NICU. Average length of stay is 2-3 years. Must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent involvement.
Shift & Scheduling: At most, every other weekend requirement.
Floating Requirements: Will float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, MS, BPD NICU, and other ICU/MedSurg units as needed; appropriate assignments will be given in these areas. Float to other specialties and campuses, primarily OH Health Riverside and Mount Carmel St. Ann's; may also float to OH Health Grant Medical, OH Health Dublin Methodist, and OH Health Doctors Hospital. ED is part of the critical care floating cluster, but float to ED is extremely rare; travelers are more likely to float to CTICU, PICU, or Med/Surg.
