Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as staff RN in immunotherapy/CHEMO.
- 1 year with supervisory responsibilities required
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
Special Requests:
- No RTO during first 13 week contract.
Unit Details:
- Primarily a leadership/administrative role overseeing clinical operations, staffing schedules, budgets, policy and procedure implementation, quality improvement, staff orientation/preceptor evaluation, and department supply/equipment ordering.
- May step into patient care roles as needed and may serve as Acting Chief Nursing Officer in the absence of the CNO.
- Uses Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word; EHR super-user skills expected.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
- Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after traveler's fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau for processing. Upon acceptance, please have your traveler make an appt for fingerprints and get them in the mail within 2-3 days to avoid start date getting pushed back.
