Required Skills/Experience:

• 3 years of professional clinical instructor experience required.
• 5 years of professional nursing experience with minimum 2 years as staff RN in a specialty (ER, ICU, OB, OR) required.
• May substitute professional clinical instructor experience for clinical nursing experience on a year-for-year basis.
• 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Prior Emergency Room/Trauma and/or remote rural experience preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Credentials:

• TNCC instructor certification preferred.

Unit Details:

• Consortium-wide clinical education role supporting clinical staff regulatory requirements, certifications, and competencies.
• Designs, teaches, and evaluates training programs, including human patient simulator training.
• Acts as an internal training and organizational development consultant and provides career development resources.
• Oversees the trauma registrar program and supports trauma program setup, registries, education, and designation maintenance for outlying clinics and Wrangell.
• Coordinates training resources and classes such as ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP, Coast Guard Medivac, and other external instructor-led programs.
• Adult and geriatric patient population focus.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
