Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years PICU, vent competent, must have at least 1 year post-orientation experience.
Unit Details:
- Patient ratios: ICU status 2:1, intubated 1:1, peds status 3:1.
- Type of patients on unit: trauma, burn, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, respiratory, sepsis, endocrinology, chronic/trach, hematology/oncology, and ortho.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend hours as required by facility.
- Call requirements: none.
- Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.
Floating Requirements:
- Nurses will be expected to work in either the NICU, PICU, pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED as determined by patient volumes.
