Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, hemodynamic monitoring
Preferred Skills/Experience: 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
Required Credentials: MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation. Copy of nursing diploma required.
Preferred Credentials: RN-BC Registered Nurse - Board Certified Critical Care Course
Unit/Facility Details: PICU that cares for stepdown and ICU status patients. Not a trauma center. Patient Population: Respiratory population on high flow, bipap, and ventilators. Post op patients which could include arterial lines and chest tubes, DKA, epilepsy monitoring unit, sepsis, overdoses and behavioral health population. Ages from 0-18 (occasionally will accept up to 21). Neurology, endocrine, surgical, and GI specialists in house.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/major holiday required
