Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Solid neuro experience. Amio and cardizem drips. Post watchman and ablation. Will take MS/Tele or PCU RNs.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Locals not accepted for PCU positions; Indiana residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include periop/OR, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers; periop includes endo, IR RN, PACU, cath lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed acuity medical unit with some PCU level of care patients; oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients are 1:3-4. Includes unstable strokes, BiPap, and insulin drips. Areas of care include oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary.
Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Floating as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
