Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Will accept first time travelers only with 2+ years of experience.
- Skills: PCU level; Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine)
Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration
Required Credentials: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.
Unit/Facility Details:
- This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg.
- Free Parking.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: Every other
- Holiday Expectations: Every other
Floating Requirements:
- Primarily to our sister unit, General PCU – as needed.
- Could also be floated to MS/Tele or ICU to care for PCU level patients.
- Could be floated within scope of practice and below.
