You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years of recent psych experience required.
- The RN will need to be comfortable with restraints.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience with Emergency Mental Health is highly preferred.
- De-escalation, restraints, and psych meds are helpful to know for this job.
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
- Emergency psych setting.
- Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.
- Broad spectrum of psychiatric and behavioral disturbances.
Shift & Scheduling:
- EOW/EOH.
- Manager tries to be flexible with schedule and weekend requirements, but due to RTO, there could be times that they have to work more weekend shifts than usual.
