Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Urology background.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- ER, pre/post, day surgery/ambulatory, or home health experience preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
- RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details:
- Adult patient population.
- Cares for patients with urine retention, kidney stones, chronic catheterization, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, BPH, hematuria, and urinary tract infection.
- Procedures and duties include intravesicular BCG administration, trial of void, trial of passage, catheter exchange, suprapubic catheter exchange, self-catheterization, and triage.
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
- No weekends or holidays.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
