Special Requests:
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
- Candidates must have a 6-month separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position.
Required Credentials:
- To receive the travel rate, claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.
- Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
- Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Unit Details:
- New and specialized CVICU caring for cardiac patients pre- and post-op.
- Work closely with the surgical team and intensivist team.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate surgical cases.
- Available for 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend, holidays, and on-call required.
Floating Requirements:
- Subject to float to PICU, Peds, and NICU.
