Additional Information
Required Credentials: Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation; must score 90% to pass.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Adult Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU patient population. Occasional titration of insulin and Cardizem drips; common drips/medications include chemotherapy, heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix. High-flow respiratory equipment used on the unit. Uses Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lifts; additional lift equipment available.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Self-scheduling, balanced to unit needs.
Floating Requirements: Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units; float assignments remain at the same level of care.
