Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have a minimum of (5) five years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn in a healthcare setting in order to be considered; in some cases more exp may be required.
Required Credentials: Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) accepted in place of ACLS. RNC-EFM may substitute for AWHONN Advanced FHM.
Unit Details: L&D, postpartum, and newborn care; BFHI; babies room in with moms. Average 40 deliveries per month and average 6 C-sections per month. May cover as charge nurse on occasion after charge nurse training.
Shift & Scheduling: 12-Hour Day shift. Must be flexible, to work other shifts, weekends and holidays, as needed. 15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.
Floating Requirements: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones.
