    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience: Labor & delivery and postpartum experience required. Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.

    Unit Details: Labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients. C-sections are done on the floor with the OB RN supporting the patient and caring for the baby; OR team scrubs and circulates. Expected ratios: 1:1 labor, 2-3 mom/baby couplets per nurse.

    Shift & Scheduling: May occasionally be put on call if census is low.

    Floating Requirements: Required to float to med/surg/ED/ICU/Mental Health as a 1:1 sitter; does not take a nursing assignment.
