Required Skills/Experience: SVD (no VBAC), Cesarean section, OB triage, Nonstress test, postpartum, nursery, care of newborn and procedures, management of hemorrhages, fetal monitoring and interventions, management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia/hypertensive crisis patients.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: LDRP unit covering labor and delivery, recovery, triage, postpartum, and nursery. Includes postpartum couplet care and a Level 1 nursery. Adult and newborn patient population. Common diagnoses/treatments include antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, pre-eclampsia, cesarean section, inductions, and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Uses Omnicell medication dispenser, Baxter pumps, and Masimo monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs.
