Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience required.
Special Requests:
- Past UnityPoint Health employees who worked as FTE or PRN in the UPH float pool within the last 12 months cannot work travel in another market; this does not apply to prior UnityPoint Health travel assignments.
Unit Details:
- Patient population includes all types of med surg care, including overflow of post-op surgical hips/knees.
- Heparin drips.
- Remote telemetry technician monitoring.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
- Every third weekend.
- Holiday rotation as scheduled.
- No call.
Floating Requirements:
- Required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.
