    References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Oncology experience preferred.

    Required Credentials:

    • Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation; must score 90% to pass.

    Special Requests:

    • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
    • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

    Unit Details:

    • Adult Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU patients.
    • May occasionally titrate insulin and Cardizem drips. Common drips/medications include chemotherapy, heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix.
    • Common respiratory equipment includes high flow.
    • Uses Alaris IV pumps; Lyko lifts are available in even-numbered rooms with additional lift equipment available.
    • Support staff includes nursing assistants, charge nurse, PT/OT, RN case manager, social worker, educator, and dietitian.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Every other weekend.
    • Self-scheduling, balanced to unit needs.

    Floating Requirements:

    • Floats to other Med/Surg and PCU units; float assignments remain at the same level of care.
