    Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

    References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Oncology and PCU experience required.
    • Charge nurse experience required: minimum 1 year.
    • Ventilator, other hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), ICP- all can train real time

    Required Credentials:

    • RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
    • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

    Special Requests:

    • Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity.
    • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

    Unit Details:

    • Mixed PCU, oncology, and med-surg unit caring for adult oncology and trauma patients.
    • Ratios: 1:4 for PCU and 1:5 for med-surg on days; 1:5-6 on nights.
    • Common drips/medications include chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix, and occasional insulin drips.
    • May encounter ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000), and ICP monitoring; real-time training is available.
    • Uses Alaris IV pumps and Lyko lifts; other lift equipment is available.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Every other weekend.

    Floating Requirements:

    • Float to med-surg and PCU units at the same level of care.

    Previous Employment Requirements:

    • Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
