    Required Skills/Experience:

    • First-time travelers accepted only if they have wound care experience prior to traveling.
    • General wound care background is required, including wound vacs, nurse-level debridement, performing ABIs, and cast cutting.

    Required Credentials:

    • Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.

    Special Requests:

    • You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility.

    Unit Details:

    • Inpatient, outpatient, hyperbaric oxygen, and ostomy wound care.
    • Treats patients with a wide variety of wounds, including diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.
    • Typically 1 patient/hour, depending on complexity.
    • Outpatient team support includes 2 CNPs, RNs, 1 CNA, and a front desk scheduler; inpatient team is all RNs.
    • Autonomous/independent practice environment.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends, or major holidays.

    Floating Requirements:

    • Can float from inpatient to outpatient.
