Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last (2) two years

Additional Training per Department:

• North 3 (Cardiac unit): ACLS; Telemetry experience

Preferred Skills / Experience: Experience in the management of cardiac patients

Additional Training per Department:

• North 3 (Cardiac unit): PCI (Cardiac Cath) Course / Experience managing post Cardiac Surgery/telemetry patients and post Cardiac Intervention patients including femoral sheath monitoring / Experience with post Cardiac Cath and post pacer patients
• Mugar 4 (Oncology, Stroke, Palliative): Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification, Chemotherapy practicum
• Mugar 5 (Surgical & Dialysis): CAPD and Drug Certification, Experience in the care of Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, ventilated patients, and patients receiving procedural sedation
• Mugar 6 (Ortho, Neuro, Post-Op, Surgery): Orthopedic certification

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

CCHC Pharmacology Exam (pass prior to start date)

CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (pass prior to start date)

Unit / Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Driver's License or Passport

Special Requests: Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam & a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends

Rotating holidays.

Floating Requirement: May float between CCH and FH as needed
