Required Credentials:

• Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% score or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests:

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
• Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
• In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

Unit Details:

• Provides care to a highly acute cardiac progressive patient population, including heart failure, ACS/AMI, STEMI, post-cath, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, pre-surgical VAD/transplant/CABG, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac gtts.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
