Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years stepdown experience, experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) and must know how to interpret heart rhythms.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients.

Preferred Credentials:

• BSN preferred.

Unit Details:

• Recovery of patients following vascular and electrophysiology procedures.
• Cares for patients with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure.
• Provides cardiac monitoring, titration of multiple intravenous medications, and conscious sedation for cardioversions.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step Down, and Cardiology Tele Step Down.
