Required Skills/Experience:

• 24 months of dialysis experience including inpatient experience.
• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current dialysis experience.
• Tele reads and measure experience required.
• Experience using Fresenius machines required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Acute dialysis experience strongly preferred.
• Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis preferred.

Special Requests:

• Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work, or have worked, at UPH within the past 12 months; prior UPH travel assignments do not trigger this restriction.

Unit Details:

• Dialysis for remote telemetry and ICU patients, including AKI and ESRD.
• Uses Fresenius 2008T hemodialysis machines and Baxter Homechoice Claria-PD.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Friday, Saturday, Monday schedule.
• Call rotation: minimal; Mon-Fri, 1900-2200, Saturday, 1900-0700, and Sunday, 0700-1900 or 1900-0600.

Floating Requirements:

• Required to float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran.
