Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted. Minimum of 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU with Epic or Cerner experience. If strictly ICU experience, Cerner is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemotherapy experience highly preferred.

Special Requests: Only 1 active application is allowed for the same position at the same facility on the same unit and shift. You may also apply to the opposite shift on the same unit and facility, but not another opening for the same shift on that unit and facility. Staff must be gone for 6 months before returning as a traveler, counted from last shift worked to start date. Holiday time off is not contractually guaranteed prior to arrival. Baptist blackout 2026 RTO dates: Martin Luther King Jr. Day 1/19-20; Valentine's Day week 2/13-16; entire month of March; Easter weekend 4/18-20; Mother's Day weekend 5/10-12; Memorial Day week 5/24-5/26; Father's Day weekend 6/14-16; Fourth of July 7/3-6; Labor Day weekend 8/30-9/1; Halloween 10/30-11/2; Thanksgiving 11/26-30; Christmas and New Year's 12/21-1/1. Up to 7 days off can be approved excluding blackout dates; blackout dates require NM/Eanh approval.

Unit Details: RNs are required to interpret and confirm telemetry strip readings q4 hours. Uses Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell, and Spacelabs monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend or 4 weekend days per month. No call. One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. 4-week schedule cycle; no self-scheduling, uses Smart Square.

Floating Requirements: Float pool home unit may be assigned among Trauma Surgical, Neuroscience, MedSurg/Oncology, Clinical Decision/Observation, Orthopedics, or MS/Ortho/Urology. Float to any like unit/patient location: MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds.
