Required Skills/Experience: 1 year of IR experience plus 1 year of ED or ICU experience. Neuro IR experience required. Circulate required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: EKOS/thrombectomy device experience preferred. Administer chemo preferred. ICP preferred. Pulmonary artery lines preferred. Triage preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Special Requests: RTO must be submitted with application. Any RTO requested after signing is at manager discretion. Must shave for fit testing; CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal PAPRs/CAPRs cannot be used. Failure to shave for fit testing will result in cancellation.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Academic medical center. Interventional radiology procedures include Shockwave, Angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, TIPS/DIPS, BRTO, SpaceOAR, transjugular liver biopsy, adrenal samplings, carotid and vertebral stents, vasospasm treatment, drain placements, Onyx embolization, prostate artery embolism, uterine fibroid embolism, CT-guided biopsies, AVM treatment, and venous disease procedures. Cares for patients with stroke, intracranial bleeds, peripheral artery disease, AVMs, upper and lower GI bleeds, gastric varices, fistulas, cancer, and thyroid/adrenal nodules.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend call required; on-call average 8-10 days per month, including a weekend.

Floating Requirements: Rarely may need to sit in PACU with a holding patient.
