Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission.
All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval).
Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.
Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility).
Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).
Unit Details: Associate DON in General Peds, PICU, NICU
Required Skills/Experience: Seven (7) years of experience is required; Five (5) of which were in a supervisory role. Supervisory experience. Patient care. Performance monitoring. Corrective action implementation. Record-keeping system development.
Required Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accreditated Nursing Program. Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
Preferred Credentials: Masters degree in Nursing.
