Additional Details:
An interview may not be available prior to offer. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Cannot have worked as full-time, part-time, or PRN staff at any CommonSpirit location, including CHI/Dignity, within the last 12 months. No previous employment allowed at this facility.
Unit Details: Fast track area. Separate triage area; travelers may occasionally work triage. ER holds are intermixed within the ED and managed in the ED. No separate psych/seclusion rooms. In-house security is present. Patient population includes trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac cases. Uses Paragon EMR. No monitor techs; RNs must know ECG rhythms. Respiratory therapy completes ABGs, breathing treatments, and EKGs. X-ray and CT are next to the ED. Tech or RN performs draws.
Shift & Scheduling: Variable evening and night shift Every other weekend. Every other holiday. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to units qualified for.
