Unit Details:

• May be assigned to PACU and Phase 2 recovery.
• Works in pain management and eye laser procedure rooms.
• Assists with nerve blocks and uses anesthesia supplies, crash cart, malignant hyperthermia cart, and emergency medications.
• Handles transfers to the medical center when needed.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Variable start 0600-0700 Mon-Fri; no weekends, holidays, or call.

Floating Requirements:

• May function as a float nurse across all areas of the surgical center to support workflow and relieve staff for breaks and lunches.
