Unit Details:
Workload varies from day to day and includes planned outpatient clinic visits, peri-operative management for inpatients, device management, post-operative wound checks, remote monitoring of devices, and device consults, with collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
Device types include Boston Sci, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik.
Vector (Device Management System) is used, and the team is willing to teach the system.
A permanent staff member will always be available for support.
Many device representatives are available for support at the Tacoma and Gig Harbor clinics, and physicians and APPs are approachable and willing to teach.

Shift & Scheduling:
Clinic hours are typically M-F 8-5, with staggered start times of 8-4:30 or 8:30-5.
No weekend requirement.
No holiday requirement.
No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements:
Will be expected to cover the outpatient settings and will be asked to travel between Tacoma & Gig Harbor outpatient clinics.
