Unit Details:
Blended ICU/CVICU setting.
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Uses Baxter pumps.
Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call required.

Floating Requirements:
Float to the Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
