An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must have experience with fresh open hearts; this experience must be recent, and candidates must also have experience with mixed ICU patients.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Ratios 1 to 1-2; 90% of the time the ratio will be 1:2. Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment. No nurse aides on the unit. Uses GE monitors and ventilators. No IV team; RT and pharmacy are available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement at this time, but holidays may be required. Self-scheduling; schedules are made about 6 weeks in advance and finalized after manager review.
Floating Requirements: First to float to tele or med-surg units.
