Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: CRRT (NxStage), IABP, Impella, HM3 LVAD, ECMO, and Zoll Thermoguard experience required. Basic Arrhythmia experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, and cardiac medical patients, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, LVAD, heart transplant, lung transplant, thoracic surgery, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and arrhythmia management. Typical assignment is 1-2 patients; may be assigned 3 general care patients if acuity is low and staffing resources are limited. Admissions include planned cases from the OR and unplanned admits from the ER, referring facilities, and the community. Planned and emergent procedures occur frequently on the unit.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Some holidays. No call.
