You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Basic arrhythmia experience required. CRRT (NxStage), IABP, Impella, HM3 LVAD, ECMO, and Zoll Thermoguard experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area preferred.

Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, and cardiac medical patients, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, LVAD, thoracic surgery, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and arrhythmia management. Assignments typically include 1-2 patients and may include 3 general care patients if acuity is low and staffing resources are limited. Wide range of acuity with planned OR admissions and unplanned admissions from the ER, referring facilities, or the community. Planned and emergent procedures frequently take place on the unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Some holidays. No call.
