Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of RN experience with at least one (1) recent year experience in dialysis is required.

Required Credentials: No temporary licenses accepted. All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Preferred Credentials: Professional nursing certification preferred.

Unit Details: Dialysis services are provided at DCH Regional and DCH Northport campuses. Performs bedside and peritoneal dialysis. Dialysis ratios: 1:2 (RN:patient) or 1:3 (RN+CCHT:patient). Uses Fresenius machines and Gambro as needed; training provided if unfamiliar. Nurses and Certified Dialysis Techs prepare and perform dialysis treatments on patients within the organization.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Regional campus hours are Monday-Saturday 6:30-1900 with call taken on Sunday and after hours. Northport campus hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with call taken on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and after hours.
